About NextJen

Last updated 4 October 2026

For grown-ups: this is our privacy notice for children aged 7 and 8, with a picture for each part. Read it with your child. The Read to me button uses your device's own voice, and it only shows if your device has one. The full notice for grown-ups is our privacy notice.

  1. Hello! This is about your NextJen work.

Your grown-up can read it with you.

  2. What we keep.

We keep your first name and your school year. We keep your answers. We keep your stickers.

  3. Why we keep it.

It helps us pick your next question. Not too hard. Not too easy.

  4. Who can see it.

Your grown-up can see your answers. They can see your stickers too.

  5. The talking button.

It uses your tablet or computer's own voice. What it reads stays on your tablet or computer.

  6. No adverts.

We never show you adverts. We never give your work to other people.

  7. Making questions better.

We look at lots of children's answers all mixed up. No names are on them. This helps us fix tricky questions.

  8. How long we keep it.

Your family might stop using NextJen one day. Then we keep your work for one year. After that, we delete it.

  9. Want it deleted?

Ask your grown-up. They can tell us. We will delete it.

  10. Worried or not sure?

Tell your grown-up. You can always ask them about NextJen.

  11. That's it!

Tap the eye picture to see this again.
