Year 4 children move up to the Year 5 course each September, and every skill score carries over. Waitlist families get a founding price: £16 a month for the Year 3 start, £24 a month for 11+ Year 4 and £36 a month for 11+ Year 5, per child, fixed while your plan continues without a break. When a child moves on to the next course, they move to its founding price.

What to know before you pay

  • 7-day free trial

    Your family's first plan starts with a 7-day free trial. We take card details up front, and the plan becomes paid unless you cancel. There is no second trial if you return.

  • Founding price

    Waitlist families get a founding price: £16 a month for the Year 3 start, £24 a month for 11+ Year 4 and £36 a month for 11+ Year 5, per child, fixed while your plan continues without a break. When a child moves on to the next course, they move to its founding price. Read the founding price terms.

  • 14-day refund

    Ask for a refund for any reason within 14 days of your first payment and you get all of it back. After that, payments are not refundable, except where the law says otherwise or we have let you down.

  • Moving up

    Children on the Year 3 start move on to 11+ Year 4 on 1 September. The price changes from £20 to £30 a month (or from £16 to £24 for founding families) from the first monthly payment on or after 1 September. A yearly plan keeps the Year 3 start price until the year you've paid for ends, then, if you renew, renews at the 11+ Year 4 price (£300, or £240 for founding families). Children on 11+ Year 4 move on to 11+ Year 5 on 1 September, the September they start Year 5, and every skill score carries over. The price changes from £30 to £45 a month (or from £24 to £36 for founding families) from the first monthly payment on or after 1 September. A yearly plan keeps the 11+ Year 4 price until the year you've paid for ends, then, if you renew, renews at the 11+ Year 5 price (£450, or £360 for founding families) when a full year still fits before your child's 11+ test. Otherwise it carries on monthly at £45 a month (or £36 for founding families), so you never pay for a year that runs past the test. The 11+ Year 4 yearly plan is sold from 1 September to 31 May. We email at least 30 days before.

Mock exam weekends are booked and paid for one at a time. Families on a free trial pay the normal mock price. Families with a NextJen plan pay the lower member price.

My child is in Year 3. Which plan do I choose?

The Year 3 start, a gentler way into the 11+ Year 4 course with shorter sessions and a parent view without scores. It costs £20 a month or £200 a year per child, or £16 a month at the founding price for waitlist families. A child you add in Year 3 starts on it automatically. On 1 September they move on to Year 4 questions and the 11+ Year 4 price, £30 a month, or £24 for founding families.

Do I pay for each child?

Yes. Plans are per child, and one family account holds them all.

Do I need a card for the free trial?

Yes. We take card details up front, the trial lasts 7 days, and the plan becomes paid unless you cancel. It applies to a family's first plan only.
